Amazing Sales Experience Visited Sonnen BMW this past weekend in search of a certified pre owned 5 series. I was greeted by Bruce Marks who proceeded to show me a huge inventory of pre owned 5 series. I was a bit overwhelmed by the selection, but Bruce took the time to go over each individual car. Awesome sales team-feels like family I have been taking my car to Sonnen BMW for the past 10 years. Faces change, people come and go, yet, the family atmosphere has stayed. My recent purchase of a new i3 from Gert Visser has been an absolute pleasure. He is extremely knowledgable about the product and his passion shows. If you are in the market for a BMW, drive past all the high pressure stores to San Rafael, go see Gert and you will understand what I am on about.
Got a great deal Jessy Custodio was excellent. This is the second new BMW that I purchased from this dealership. I was worth driving the extra hour or so.

Painless, stress-free car buying They function like, well, a well-oiled machine. Everything from sales to finance to service is smooth and efficient. No silly games with negotiating back and forth, or ridiculous, costly add-ons (undercoating, for example). Just straight-up service.
Car I wanted at the price I could afford Found the used vehicle I wanted. They were able to work with my budget! Staff was friendly and helpful.
Jim was fantastic to work with. Jim the sales agent was a fantastic person to work with during this process, I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friends that are looking to purchase a new car.
Bruce was extremely pushy and not knowledgeable Find another person other than Bruce D to work with and it may be a decent experience. The pricing is ok for used and you have to research what is available before you go there because you might not see them otherwise.
Very frustrating I am an out of state buyer and my initial contact with the sales person, Jim Leavitt, was very unpleasant right off the bat. He was short worded and rude. I finally was able to agree on a price which I was very happy with and they informed me that I HAD to finance through BMW financial services. He couldn't give me any information and just said "This is the way it has to be, it???s not in my control" very gruffly.
