"Second Outback Purchase Experience" My husband and I had vowed never to return to New Motors after our first purchase of a 2017 Subaru Outback. We had been treated quite unprofessionally by some areas of the dealership. But then we received an email asking if we would be interested in trading our 2017 outback for a 2019 for almost the same monthly payment. The Salesman seemed to have little to no motivation to sell me the car, never returned calls he was actually kind of useless. Then I told him I already had a problem with the tire pressure sensors. Even though all tire pressure sensors work the same for every type of car I was told I had to go to a different dealer to get them reset. I would not recommend him to anyone. Overall I am happy with the vehicle.

Buying the Subaru after doing our due diligence and comparing the Corolla and Cruze came down to wanting and being ok with paying a premium for the all wheel drive was an easy decision..

My husband and I just purchased a new Subaru from New Motors last week. That is the second Subaru we have purchased from this dealership, not to mention the five BMWs. If we were not 100% satisfied with the buying experience and service departments, we would look elsewhere for our vehicles. Larry New once told me "that the brand sells the first car and the service the second." With that philosophy, it is no wonder that the New Motors experience is first rate.

I bought my new Crosstrec from this dealer two years ago. Just went to the service dept for routine issue and told my tires need to be replaced. This is 23,000 miles. My last several new cars all went 45k miles or more so what is the deal? The service rep was very insulting (do I look like a dumb woman?) telling me all new cars only last this distance. My mom's Subaru has gone 45k already from the Youngstown dealer so no, maybe New Motors cars only go 20k... We did some research and New Motors must have decided to rip their ... read more

Let me first begin this review by reminding everyone of new motors mission statement. It reads "To ensure that you remain our customer for life we are committed to exceeding your expectations - - - Period!" This is a very strong and bold claim being made. Went to New motors to buy a Subaru. I was looking for a Forester and could only afford the basic model. I walked out with a certified pre owned car with almost every option available. I think the whole experience took about 2 hours. It actually took me about the same amount of time to drive to the dealership. If anyone asks me about my car I will certainly say, go see Seth!

Overall Experience: DISAPPOINTED! Sent an email to Mr. Larry New explaining my less than desireable experience, never received a response. Not impressed with the ownership/leadership. My BMW was in the shop for 9 days because of a less than professional attempt at a camera repair performed at New Motors. I realize many customers may have had a positive buying experience, but for me, I would not consider purchasing again from this dealer, mainly based on first impressions....memorable, but not favorable.
