unknown ON 5-8-15,John S Measured my patio for impact sliders.He said the estimate would be e-mailed to me on Sat.5-9-15,it was not. Mon. 5-11-15 I called John and left a message,I spoke to two different ladies they said someone would call me. The second lady said she would speak with John personally about my estimate.It is now 8:00PM still no call and still no estimate.What a way to run a company. I guess they do not want my business.How did this company get all the "A"????

I didn't end up using the deal. The company wanted to charge me more for the permits and also because they said my door was a different size. I tried to pull the paperwork on my own and it would have been $110, when i called the city, compared to the $450 that he tried to charge me. The presentation was great but when he tried to sell me additional thing that I didn't need, it went downhill. I am sorry that the permitting and engineering was not explained to you properly. Windows and Door permits require engineering, an in progress inspection, and a final inspection that all have costs that we include into permitting fee. I didn't turn out good at all.When I first called them they seemed so honest and were a family company so I didn't really expect them to do this.They tried to charge me for the permit fees, which as far as I know, it is illegal to do that.When I called them back they never returned my call. I wasn't really happy with the windows either. I thought they would be more sound proof, but they weren't. First them came out to give me an estimate, look at the windows, and take measurements. Then installed windows.

Poor communication from the owners and office staff, but I finally got a good response from John Stephens. If not for him I would have never chosen to hire this company. After I made the initial payment the order was delayed three (3) weeks until Jan 15th, when I was originally promised the windows would be installed before Christmas. When the windows finally arrived at the warehouse I was never notified, I found out by calling the office to check the status. Quote was the highest out 6 quotes by $7,000 dollars all things being equal. They may be fine installers but their quote seemed excessive. Provided a quote for a large hurricane window job.
