We had a reservation and were immediately seated. Unfortunately, we were seated in what would have been the outdoor area. We had a nice view but there was a draft coming in the window and it was chilly. There was a heater close by that wasn't on, regardless of the fact that the waiter mentioned it was getting "chilly." The food was delicious though.
Food was good but on the pricey side. Staff was friendly but really slow.
The Food and Service was great. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and had a great time. Our Server "Carlos" was exceptional too...made the evening special. Had No Problem leaving more then 20% for his tip!!!!
We made reservations to celebrate my mom, she enjoyed her meal, that's all that matters. This is a pricey dining experience for the meal you receive. I'm usually not so critical but I will likely not return unless the menu changes. It did not help that we were seated next to a party who were all drunk, yelling, and cursing at one another. They apologized for their behavior as they left but the waiter seated us there knowing they had been drinking and loud the entire time they were there. Food was very good. Service was great. Restaurant week menu had additional cost for steak which was not in spirit of other top steak houses like Ruth's Chris and Capitol Grille
My second time dining at Bond 45. Both experiences were good, however the crab steak entree that I selected on the second occasion was awful. Too dry and not very tasteful.
It was a great experience, good food, great service, staff very personable adapted well to our personalities and our good time. The only thing that was disappointment was, one of our party wanted a Crown Royal on the rocks and there was none in the house, or any other Canadian whiskey to be had, I find it troubling for something like that to happen. This is my favorite restaurant by far. The first two times I've been here the food was great. I'm not sure what happened this time, but I was still satisfied. The service was the best service I've ever received. We were seated as soon as we walked in, they didn't ask us for our reservations (even though I did make my reservations just in case I would need it). My husband and I had a romantic dinner her our first night in DC at National Harbor. It was a short walk from the hotel. We had a reservation, and waited a short while before being seated. The atmosphere was nice, the service as very good; even the manager visited our table several times, even offered us cookies. We were a little close the the other party, with the booth/table sitting.
