Anniversary night out. Very good overall. Attentive service but we were not rushed. Prosciutto appetizer was fabulous as were the filet mignon and scallops. Asparagus side dish was overcooked and had suffered from life in a warmer. The Yorkshire pudding-like bread was unexpected and very nice. We did not have room for dessert.
I took my husband here for his birthday since he loves steak and I love Italian food. The restaurant is situated off of the main strip in the National Harbor with specific views of the Potomac. We didn't have to wait to be seated with our reservation. Our server brought us 2 glasses of complimentary champagne when our appetizers arrived. EXREMELY expensive. Can't really say its worth the money although the food is good. WE couldn't get a seat on the patio. The inside was busy and noisey.
My first time at Bond 45 and it won't be my last.... even though I don't live in D.C. Hopefully they will bring one to Atlanta. I can't think of anything that was wrong our out of place, all the way down to the glass of lemoncella at the end, it was a great experience.
Way over priced for the food quality. The food was good but not outstanding enough to warrant the prices charged.
We were greated by the hostess quickly and sat right away in a location that we were able to choose. The hostess was aware that it was our anniversary and congratulated us. We had constant attention at the table and the waitress was well versed on their food choices and also had no noticable problem with my wife's need for some special preparation due to lactose issues. This restaurant has great steaks but is missing the "steakhouse" experience. Its dull; the bar will put you to sleep. Not exactly bustling or elegant- I'm happy with one of the two but Bon45 is neither.
I celebrated my 30th birthday here. I felt like royalty! The service was wonderful and the food- incredible. There were 5 of us, (supposed to be 6) They sat us in our own private room. Everyone in my party had a wonderful time and said how memorable it was! I can't wait to go back.
Food was good but not worth the high price and order was incorrect.
