We went out for our anniversary and enjoyed a great meal with great service. Unfortunately, the table next to us was being overly loud. I was a little disappointed that the restaurant staff didn't say anything because it was obviously impacting the tables around them. I thought Bond 45 was classy enough to ensure all diners are able to enjoy their meals in peace. We would have preferred a table in a quieter location and should have spoken up. First time at this restaurant. The food was EXCELLENT the service was pretty good. Not as attentive as I'm used to at other high end restaurants. Other than that everything was fine.
Best steak I've eaten in DC area!
The food was excellent and our waiter made great selections tailored to our needs. We had one of the rooms off to the side with some water view which sat our party of 7 plus to other tables for 4 people. This was perfect as we had a 2 yr. old with us. very authentic Italian food and wines. Our room had many windows, but parts of the restaurant were a little dark, perhaps better for evening dining with candle light rather than day time luncheon if you want bright day light environment. The service and food were superb! One of the best meals I've had in a long time. The staff were unbelievably cordial. My wife and I cannot wait to go back.
The staff, menu, and location are superb. The restaurant serves dry-aged steak, which if you haven't had it, is the best way to age steak because the meat is very tender and flavorful. Unlike the Capital Grille, they offer filet in both an 8 and 12 ounce variety. They also have prohibition cocktails that they serve in a teacup / teapot, which was very charming and delicious. I took my husband here for his birthday. The staff was absolutely amazing! Desserts, shots, cookies, so many extra little treats. Our waiter did a great job explaining the menu and the host even came over with champagne for us to celebrate! A wonderful experience to be repeated!
The waiter did not know what was in the evenings specials (what kind of seafood was in the seafood stew), did not know if the steaks were cooked in the "florentine manner" and could not answer any questions about the wine list. ADinner was great! Service was great although we had a hard time understanding our server and misunderstood the description of one of the specials and was served something a little less desirable. It was still delicious though. Wish we had had a better view of the sunset. Seating outside would have been wonderful. Didn't know the lay of the restaurant so we didn't know what to expect.
