Absolutely fabulous restaurant. I got what I expected and then some. The members of the staff were courteous, the food was beyond delicious (101 layer lasagna is a must have), and they really know how to treat you right on special occasions. It was my wife's birthday and they really did it up well. I scored mega points on this one!! :)
My neice was visiting from out of town and it was a first visit for us both to Bond 45; we had an exceptional time. The food was superb, the portions perfect and the ambience fantastic. It was both sophisticated and energetic! I'll certainly be back.
The restaurant location and view (if you're lucky enough to be seated in one of the dining areas that overlooks the water) is great! It's a vibrant scene down at the Washinton National Harbor and lot's to do afterwards. The service was good and we enjoyed some great appetizers and wine. Unfortunately, we were not very impressed by our entrees. However, I would still recommend checking out Bond 45 as I think it has a great view, friendly servers, and an extensive menu. I used Bond 45 for a business dinner with a colleague. The server recognized we were having a business discussion and was very careful not to interrupt. The steaks were outstanding, cooked perfectly and the vegetables servings were more than sufficient for two people. I'm going to be back and bring my wife. I feel a bit guilty now for having had the experience without her.
We went for Restaurant Week and had fantastic food, as always. We are always trying something new and happy with every order. We were celebrating our anniversary and was pleasantly suprised with a cotton candy sundae! Bond 45 is our favorite go-to place and we always take out of town guests here too.
We celebrated our anniversary at Bond 45 for the second time and it was even better than last year! We were greeted warmly by the Maître 'D and enjoyed wine, prosciutto & cheese at the bar before being seated. Our bartender, Jamie, couldn’t have been better. Really good food. Prociutto bar is amazing, as is the home made mozzarella. We both had lamb shanks with papparadelle. The dish was excellent. The lamb was falling off the bone and the sauce was great. The wine list is limited. We did have a very nice bottle of Cabernet for $105 which was decanted upon request. Service was excellent. Atmosphere is lovely.
Overall very pleased with Bond 45. Filet Mignon was 1st rate.
