Best at the National Harbor with great service.
Too many crying babies (2 separate parties). I asked for a good seat, preferably a booth. We were seated right next to the swinging, busy kitchen door. That was a little annoying but as the night went on we got used to it. Service was top-notch from maitre'd down to man pouring water! Very nice interior. The food is good, not fantastic. Great meal. We really enjoyed the prosciuto's and mozzarella cheeses aog with a homemade dessert they make called tortoni.

Three good things and the rest, bad: 101 layer lasagna was fantastic. Service and ambience was very good. Lobster and seafood pasta was not. I expected not to have to wrestle with a halved lobster while trying not to make a mess with the pomodoro sauce. I'm not sure why they thought cracking open a lobster claw with tomato sauce splashing would be a good idea. Also, the lobster was dry and overdone. I thought it was very overpriced for a steak. I prefer Ruth Chris and their prices are much more in line and you received excellent service there as well. I would NOT come back.
Was there for our twenty-fifth anniversary. We were met with glasses of champagne and had a wonderful time.
This was the second year in a row I've celebrated my birthday at Bond 45. I tried to find someplace different but no place panned out. I wasn't disappointed. The food was as good as ever and so was the service. Honestly, the food could slip some as long as the service remains outstanding, they're that good. One of the main reasons I chose Bond 45 again was everything they serve is good, not just their steaks.
