I had a very good meal at Bond 45. Our steak was cooked perfectly and the cheese plater was ery tasty. Good service and over all attention to detail.
Second time we visited Bon 45 in National Harbor. Both times we had an excellent meal combined with attentive service. Sometimes a waiter can be too attentive but they all seem to understand when they should come by the table and when to leave the customers alone. Would highly recomend this restaurant as being the best in National Harbor.
Went for my wife's birthday. They were waiting for us and had the table ready. The food and service was excellent but it was rather noisy. I am sure it would have been better if we went later but there were business dinners going on all around us. We had to talk loud to hear each other and it wasn't romantic.
It was "Ok". The food quality was very good but the over all experience was not something I would brag about. Quite pricey for what u get. I would consider going back for a very special event, but admit that I would consider other places first.
You just can't beat Bond 45's mozzarella and prosciutto bar. The creamy house made mozerrella and succulent hand crafted prosciutto were outstanding. The bone-in ribeye and scallops were also excellent. They even suprised my wife with a "Happy Birthday" cotton candy and ice cream tower. Service was a little spotty but, it was unusually packed on a Monday night (and we were not in a rush) so we'll let that slide. I think the fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookies helped take the sting out of this minor lapse.

The food was good but definitely overpriced. We have had excellent meals at steakhouses in the District that were less pricy than this suburban location. National Harbor is pretty, but the cost was not justified.
This was my second visit. The first time, I was impressed by the service, but underwhelmed by the food (I had the scallops - not nearly as flavorful as the menu description suggests). The second time, the food was much better (I had the shrimp/clams/mussels appetizer - delicious, enough for an entree) and the service was still very good. So my conclusion re the food is it depends on what you order.
Have had better steaks elsewhere but the service was excellent. Will go back and try the seafood.
