We was seated in an extremely nice place air conditioned with a nice view of the water. It was especially nice for us because my husband is an ac person and I love the view and we got a good compromise because I really wanted to be outdoors. The food was good but I especially love at the end of dinner they offer you a warm chocolate chip cookie. Really nice. It was really good as well. Service was exceptional after getting seated.
The food was excellent! My wife and I had an 8oz. steak and the lamb pasta. The steak was extremely taisy and juicy, the pasta came with a huge lamb leg standing up that you could pull the bone out of the meat. We also had a cheese platter for an appetizer which was alright, it was way too big for just 2 people. We absolutely loved this restaurant. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary which will be memorable. We were seated at a romantic table which gave us a beautiful view of the harbor. The food and service were impressive. We would definitely recommend-especially for a special event.
I was concerned about eating here as the reviews I saw were very mixed, either very positive or very negative. Overall, I'd give it a very good rating, but some of the criticisms from the negative reviews do have some validity, especially for people who have never eaten in a true Italian restaurant. I have been to the Bond 45 in NYC. I felt the Bond 45 at National Harbor was not quite as great. The meals are very expensive but are large portions. I was celebrating my 50th birthday so it was a nice restaurant for a special occasion. I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions only. The service was very good.

I asked for a quiet, suitable table with a view of the harbor, if possible. A perfect table was waiting for us and the service was most excellent. The food was very good. Bottom line, my wife, whose birthday we were celebrating, loved the setting, the table, and the entire experience!
All-in-all, great experience. My wife's B-Day and they took great care of us. Food was excellent. My ONLY beef is I think the prices are pretty steep - $36 for Ossu Bucco - it was excellent, but its just lamb and veggies/sauce.
Excellent food and service as always. A very pleasant evening. Would always recommend.
