What happend to the restaurant week menu??? It wasn't even offered. Anyway, the food and drinks were excellent, no complaints here. Pretty hefry check, so I'd definitely consider this a special occassion restaurant. Best service I've had in a long while. Being a very new restaurant I was impressed. Had everything on the dessert tray besides that fat 5 lb cake, all sooo delicious especially the cream puff things and the fake me out ice cream. My husband and I went to this restaurant for our 8th year wedding anniversary. We had a great time, the food was great and the service was impeccable.
My dining experience would have been absolutely outstanding had it not been so cold in the room we were seated in. The heaters, of which we were sitting right next to, were set to 90 degrees and we had to put our coats on...and it was still cold it that room. The view was beautiful, but the cold discounted it. The best eating experience I've ever had. Bond 45 is the model of how a restaurant should operate. The server was very familiar of the menu and how everything was prepared.
My experience was just okay. It happened to be restaurant week and only the second week the restaurant was open. Even with reservations we had to wait, but it wasn't too long. It was disappointing because many of the items I requested the kitchen had run out of for the evening. I've never been to a restaurant that ran out of food. However, I would be willing to visit the restaurant again except it would have to be for brunch or a very early dinner. We went for restaurant week menu-good value! I will go back to try the regular menu. We had a lovely table in a little room which was private with a great view of the water. I had asked for a table with a view but didn't expect to get it so it was a nice surprise!! Our server was very attentive.
I dined there during restaurant week. The Salmon was scrumptious and the wait staff was extremely attentive. The direct view of the harbor & the Wilson Bridge was beautiful & romantic. I'm a resident at NatHrbr and so far it ranks #1 on my list. Can't wait to try more dishes!
Just wonderful from arrival to departure! Because it was my birthday, we were treated to complimentary glass of Prosecco and given a beautiful marzipan peach as a parting gift. Every item we tried was outstanding (steaks especially and the pasta - yum) as well as the wait staff - young and energetic withoug being cloying - just superb - the wine list was very good and dessert too. There was nothing that did not live up to my high expetations! I will recommend Bond 45 to all I know!
