Food was slightly elevated Olivia Garden. It was not good at all. We were extremely rushed. I was still eating my salad and the waiter took my plate.

Business response:

Please accept our apologies for the rushed service and food quality issues. We'll be sure to note your feedback to help us improve. Stephanie Holmes - Director of Guest Services, The Fireman Hospitality Group

Quality of food does not match the price. Food was hit and miss, mostly miss. The Meatball appetizer was fantastic and the Chicken Soup and Shrimp Scampi would have been fine except the flavors were overpowered by excessive pepper. The Chicken Parmigiana was overcooked with burnt black edges. For these prices there should be a higher standard of quality.

Business response:

Though we're glad to hear that you enjoyed your appetizer, we're sorry that your meal wasn't more enjoyable overall. Your feedback helps us improve. Contact (301) 839-1445. Stephanie Holmes - Director of Guest Services, The Fireman Hospitality Group

The food was good. The service was good. What absolutely ruined the experience was when the General Manager (John?) came out and chatted up the table of 6 girls next to us for 30 minutes. I believe he was feeding his ego more than anything. While it’s nice to check on your guests, this was rude, obnoxious and in poor “taste” for patrons at a table nearby trying to relax and unwind from a busy day. I couldn’t even have a conversation with my husband, as it was too chaotic with loud shrieks, laughter and picture taking. Shame ... read more

Pasta was bland. Server was not attentive. Did not enjoy service and I normally place good reviews. For the money, you can go somewhere better.

No one wants to pay over $200 to sweat over mediocre food. Fix or turn on your A/C! The fact that your employees have there own fans tells me this isn't a one-time issue

The AC was out, and we were seated in the back room. Other areas had fans at least circulating the air....should have let me know before we were seated. It was a work dinner, and my guests were miserable. Things happen, but the lack of communication was the issue. We'd ordered drinks before we realized the degree of the problem. Maybe avoid this place during the summer months. There were gnats and fruit flies everywhere no matter where we ate in the restaurant. We could hardly enjoy our meal, even a yellow jacket flew in while we were eating and the manager had to come and remove it. Because there were so many in the dining areas, we were afraid to imagine how many might be in the kitchen so we lost our appetites after that. Maybe in the winter months it’s not as bad, but the bugs definitely ruined our experience so I wouldn’t recommend it for that ... read more

There’s a sign prominently placed outside that says “Happy Hour At The Bar Monday - Friday 3PM - 6PM”. So I showed up at 4:45 p.m. on a Friday to have a drink at the bar while I waited for my party to join me for dinner. I was promptly told (in a not particularly friendly way) that they did not have happy hour.

Extremely unpleasant experience as a restaurant on one of the hottest days of the summer, had no air conditioning, and we were seated in a window with no ventilation close to the hot kitchen. We were not told this prior to seating and no effort to provide some compensation was made.
