We have been here before loved it. We have been to bond 45 in manhattan many times as well. It truly was not enjoyable due to a seating with sun in our eyes the whole time. Actually itook my meal home as I couldn't see to eat it due to the sun blinding me.our waitress did mention it to Dave but bye that time t was too late,
If not for the fireworks over the harbor, our anniversary dinner would've been ruined. Expectations were high for a $300 meal for 2-we were disappointed.Servers set the tone for dining experience-ours was condescending & impatient with our questions. Steak was over cooked because entree service was poor
We were celebrating our anniversary and asked for a nice seat. They set us in the back, which was fair, but ended up being next to a party of 10 youngadults!!! They were so loud we had to leave. We enjoyed the view at the harbor, but will not likely return to this restaurant.
Big build up and big expecations, but the reality was over priced and under valued.
It was horrible manager was very disrespectful and cooks couldn't get a well done steak right and y'all call your selfs a steak house.it was so bad that I had to go on yelp and vent and get the bad taste out my mouth that the manager gave me with his distasteful attitude.
Bond 45 has always been my favorite restaurant. Im sure that I have sent, at the least, 40-50 new customers their way because of my marketing its excellent food which is accompanied by excellent service. When making the reservation, I was shocked that the star rating had dropped for the restaurant and included so many recent complaints about the service. I have heard good things about this place but my experience was just fair. I would recommend this place but would set low expectations. Even with a reservation we were seated in the bar area and not until exactly our reservation time. Because we had our son with us in a car seat I sat at the end of a booth in the aisle. For context, we regularly enjoy dining at Palm, Capital Grille, Bobby Van's, Morton's - places with comparable price points. Although Bond 45 charges just as much, if not more, it falls well short on just about everything. The disappointments start with the lack of valet parking or dedicated parking, and no validation for spending $100+ per person. Being at the waterfront, one would think there would be great views.
