Third visit and Bond 45 never disappoints. Warm greeting at the door, terrific seating, varied and friendly menu. This time we shared the pear salad and an open-faced lasagna. Try this when you go. Clever presentation of fresh pasta and hearty sauce with splendid meats - rustic and delicate at the same time. Such a treat! Our waiter Marc was attentive and helpful with menu choices. Great pre-theatre restaurant!
I ate here for dinner one night, and lunch the next day. Coincidentally the same hostess and waiter served me. Not only the remembered me, they treated me like a regular. Very nice, professional, and a pleasure to interact with . The food was great. I had the scallops one night and the lobster carbonara the next . Great food, and served hot!
Great food, lots of room inside, close to Broadway shows!!
we went to this place before seeing The Lion King. They were very polite and served us with speed...but allowed us to take our time. The food was fantastic. A bit pricy...but worth it.
I've been going to Bond 45 for several years, particularly on theatre days. I always order the same dish. Veal Chop Parmigiania. Although a bit pricey, ($50) it is immense and quite sharable. It is one of the reasons I go to Bond 45. The restaurant is in the heart of the theatre district and so convenient.
Perfect for pre theatre. We have returned several times for its convenience in addition to the great food and ambience. Always on the mark for us. The veal parm is soooo good and plenty for two. Take note of the delicious goodies available in the case while waiting to be seated, try an assortment of the veggies.
The large neon sign does not fit the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprise to find an upscale, nice dining room inside. Attentive wait staff, warm, vintage (classic) atmosphere.
Exceeded my expectations!
I have been to Bond 45 many times - it's my go to place pre -theater - food is good, reservations are easy and usually the staff seems happy to have you. But last week, for the first time I sat upstairs and to the left. The waiter was annoying, nasty and really didn't seem to be happy.
