It was Fine. Food Ok. Service good. Too crowded and loud — but not in a fun way — for A Special dinner.
Great pre-theater option. We were seated at our reservation time, service by Kyle was very good. We had wedding soup, caprese salad, veal parm, Trodelli Bolognese and Chocolate Mousse. Everything very good, timely service. The veal covered the entire plate and it seemed a bit "industrial" but tasted good. The mousse was very unusual and wickedly good. Nice touch when the manager circulated with homemade chocolate chip cookies. Took our time and were out in 1+45 and off to the show.
I had a reservation for 5:15 and with traffic, I was scheduled to arrive at the parking lot by 5:30. I called the restaurant and the hostess was so nice and assured we would still have our table :) My boyfriend and I had an 8 pm play to attend and the waiter made sure we had our meal with enough time to get to the theatre. We ordered the calamari and the prosciutto, so good! You have to try the bond cup, loved it! I also had the chicken parmigiana ala vodka and my boyfriend had the steak, both delicious. They suggested that if we were going to the theater at eight, we should make a reservation for 5:30pm they weren't kidding....We we're seated promptly despite the place being packed. Our server was personable and attentive..nice decor. The appetizers we're tasty and their take on lasagna was interesting and very good. Expensive, but nice. Would recommend it to anyone.
We had the lasagna and the truffle fettuccine, both were amazing but the lasagna was out of this world! I'll definitely go back for the lasagna.
Had a great pre-show brunch, highly recommend! :)
This was my second visit to Bond 45 for a delicious pre matinee lunch. The service, from the hostess greeting to the busboy clearing, is excellent. The food is never disappointing with several easy to share items. We each had soup and then shared a pizza this time, with very nice wine choices. The location for many theaters is also perfect, allowing us to eat a nice meal and not be late for the show.
Great service. Food was overall very good. Had drink for 2, chicken parm, lasagna and pizza. Pizza looked good but had gas oven flavor. Chicken parm was very unique and good. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. We would return.
A friend and I had pre-theatre dinner on the occasion of her birthday and Broadway Week; the location is excellent for theatregoers. The restaurant features an antipasto bar from which one can choose an assortment of vegetables for an appetizer. The Brussels sprouts and the chickpeas were uninspired but the cauliflower Milanese was pretty good. The decor was tasteful and cozy but we were glad not to be seated at the low coffee table or the low 18” round that bumps the knees and barely has room for a single plate and glass. T... read more
