Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Love this place. Food is great as is the staff. They treat you like you are A-List even if it's your first visit. Highly rec-commend.
Bond 45 is my go-to restaurant when going to the theatre. Although it is not a vegan restaurant, the seitan veal part was unbelievable and worth going back for even if you eat the real thing.. The rest of my group had chicken caesar, and the assorted antipasti which was also phenomenal. I loved the special touch of the waitress coming to serve us free cookies right off the cookie sheet. My group and i couldn't say enough good things about this place.. Try it!!
Visiting NYC was a bucket list for my youngest daughter and as we are walking into the restaurant she said wow how fancy. The food was amazing the butternut squash was perfect and the service was perfect too. Perfect place to dine before heading to the theatre. I would definitely return to eat here.
I've come more than once for lunch and ordered the express 2-course lunch. It's disappointed more than once. Most recently, I had a salad (artichoke and avocado) drenched in some sort of oil sauce. Not dressing, but literally a pool of thick mostly tasteless sauce. Very weird. Two of us had the same salad and neither of us could figure out what the kitchen's intention was. I've been wanting to try the legendary Bond 45 for a while now. Maybe the excitement built up my expectations too much. The atmosphere was nice, but the seating could use some updating as it's worn out over the years. The food was very good, clean flavors, but nothing spectacular that I'll be talking about for the next week. Definitely overpriced for portions. Staff was friendly and attentive. Glad I tried it once, but won't be going out of my way for a future visit.
We had a reservation for the Thanksgiving Menu. The second waiter served the plates very fast, that we got the Feeling like an express Dinner Menu. We started with the Appetizer and one Minute later, the Server bring the first course- but we had a full plate from our warm Appetizers on the table and not finished. Also they forgot to bring the Champagne wich was together with the Appetizers on the menu. We gt the Champagne than after the Main course :(
My friends and I traveled to NYC for Thanksgiving 2014 and had dinner at Bond 45. Had a great time with great food! The filet was so tender that I cut it with my fork! The wonderful service we received from Sidney made our great night even better! I recommend this restaurant to everyone!
We stay in the area when we are in NYC and Bond has been consistent. Dinner portions are generous and food quality and service are always high quality.will certainly return.
