Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

We LOVED our visit to Bond 45. Our waiter's recommendations were spot-on and he answered all of our (many) questions clearly and with a smile. He seemed to enjoy the night as much as we did. The food, service and wine were all wonderful! I am looking forward to a return trip soon.
Any time I visit New York, I try to include Bond45 in one of my stops. This restaurant is always lively and the food never disappoints. I made a quick and easy reservation through Open Table and when my group arrived, we only waited a couple of minutes to get our table. The waiter was very attentive even though it was crowded. He even took pictures of us for memories, and gave us a great laugh when he included himself in a selfie with us. The food portions were enough for two people so bring your fat pants with you LOL.
We arrived early for our pre theater dinner and were seated right away. Were able to take our time and enjoy drinks and appetizers before our meal in the warm and welcoming dining room. The entrees were all delicious but are huge! They literally filled the platter sized plates. We could have easily shared them and not have left so much on our plates. Excellent food and good service. However, when we arrived, we asked for a corner table. The host said ok but then tired to seat us in the middle of the room, A kind waiter switched us to a more acceptable location. We were offended that the host lied to us.
This restaurant combines the old classic New York roaring 20's upscale feel with a today's fine dining taste for excellence! With a wide range of truly hand crafted foods & and service to make u feel like u belong, there's no where else to go bur here!
If you are looking for really good pasta and a wide range of great Italian dishes, don't bother with Bond 45. Their steaks may be great, but nothing else was very good. Also, this is not a place for kids as there is no kids menu and few if any choices for children.
This is the third time I have eaten at Bond 45 and each time the food and service have been exceptional. Our party of five enjoyed filet mignon, chicken, ravioli, seafood with pasta and roasted vegetables and salad. All delicious, start to finish. The fresh out of the oven cookies are an added treat at the end of the meal that give Bond 45 that extra something special. Our waiter Rene is a true professional waiter, knowing just how to guide his diners in their selection that meets their preferences.
The noise level was ridiculous and so were the prices for food that was just okay.
A great spot for before theatre. It's a regular for us.
