We really enjoyed it!! Order the veal parm...it was amazing!!! Our waiter was great and it's a very festive spot! Wine list was pricey.
Every time I eat at Bond 45 I know I will return. The antipasto choices are delicious, the entrees meld an interesting combination of tastes and foods and the service is reliably polite, helpful and attentive. Try the creamy mozzarella with beefsteak tomatoes - it's a cheese within a cheese - fabulously tasty. Saturday night was predictably noisy and hopping for the first few minutes until the theater crowd disbursed. Great Energy in this restaurant!!!
WAITER WAS INATTENTIVE. HAD TO BE CONSTANTLY LOOKING FOR HIM FOR SERVICE. BREAD AND DRINK REFILLS NOT ASKED FOR BY WAITER. BROUGHT ONE TINY PLATE OF OLIVE OIL FOR BREAD FOR 6 PEOPLE. FORGOT TO PUT IN APPETIZER ORDER. WHEN AT THE TABLE LOOKED LIKE HE WANTED TO GET WHATEVER WE WANTED OVER WITH AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE AND MOVE ON. FOOD, HOWEVER, WAS VERY GOOD. tHIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE EATEN HERE.
Warm and inviting redone NYC eatery, used to be Bond Suit Store, located on 45th street hence the name. Food was close to excellent, I am very picky so...waiter was stiff but warmed up throughout the dinner. Bread basket was wonderful, soup was somewhat disappointing as was Bolognese sauce ( just my own preference) my daughters dinner was absolutely perfect...crabmeat and shrimp in fish butter...wonderful...calamari and shrimp app. was right on. Noise, noise , noise. Would have been nice to be able to hear the person I was sitting with.
I am from Los Angeles but visit NYC regularly. This was my second time at Bond 45 and it is a great pre-theatre restaurant. I'm sure it's also great if you're not in a rush to get to theatre! We were a group of six and there are some terrific appetizers to share. Our server was able to accomodate one late arrival at our table -- and we had a very enjoyable meal. It does get a bit busy but that's NY!
Classic New York restaurant. Great location in Times Square. Good for pre or post theater dining. Nice classic bar.
Portions are huge and the pricing is too high for pre theater. The veal parmigiana is forty seven dollars. Too pricey .Bond 45 used to have a chicken parmigiana on the menu. It is no longer available. This was priced appropriately. Due to pricing, we would not return
