Horrible customer service, waited for over 2 hours just to get vaccinations. Ridiculous.

Your staff is very cold and not emphatic at all. It’s sad that people in customer service get to that point. If they don’t like the atmosphere they are in get other people in there

They rarely answer the phone. When they do you will be placed on hold for at least 5-10 minutes. When you book your appointment you will wait no less than an hour PAST your scheduled appointment time. Once you get in they are good however the process to book an appointment and be seen in a timely manner needs major improvement. Place is terrible phone never gets answered. I had an appointment at 3:30 showed up 15 min early we were told to wait outside filled info name, make of vech., and phone number to be reached. We sat in our truck for 2 hrs right in front of their door we were never approached. Finally decided to go in for them to tell us we went outside and couldn’t find your vech. And call you we never had a missed call only for them to tell us to continue to wait and someone would be with us it’s 5:27 and still no one. You lost our business ... read more

My mom’s dog, an established patient at this clinic was denied service (the dog saved my mom from a pitbull attack and was bitten) after she was told she could go in as a walk-in. My three pets *were* also patients here, but we’ll have to find another clinic that we can rely upon when we need them most.
I honestly hate this place. I’ve been coming here on and off again for about three years for my pets and the front office staff is always rude. If you can go to another vet please do and save yourself the trouble. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless it was their last choice!
Have been coming to Border Animal Hospital for years. Dr. Bhakta has been amazing but the appointment schedule is a joke. Even if you have an appointment, walk-ins can get priority. Appointment today was scheduled for 4:10 for blood work and it is now 7:16 and we are waiting for techs to fill meds. Dr. Bhakta is the only reason we’ve stayed for so long but the techs and one receptionist in particular have hurt the business. Sad to say but we will be finding another vet.
