I was very disappointed to learn about the new PPE charge at the office. The $10 cost is an additional out-of-pocket to me for every visit myself or a family member makes. I checked with other dental offices and the consensus was that if your insurance doesn't cover this additional PPE $10 charge the dental office waves the fee. I don't mind paying this fee annually but with every visit for every family member, it's significant. First off I think having Medicaid lowered my my quality of care. Went in to have a wisdom tooth removed, had an appointment then was told to come back a month later because it was only after my husband kept calling them to get me in sooner because I was in so much pain they finally made an appointment two weeks later.
