After four months of a quarantine nightmare, and not being able to get my puppy to a groomer, I brought him (a rescue puppy who came from a puppy mill where he was abused and starved and traumatized) to be groomed at the pet resort. I knew he was going to probably need to be cut pretty short, and had already shaved him a bit myself, but I did not expect to have him returned to me... completely shaved down to the skin. they do not communicate with pet owners about their grooming services
they will tell you your pet is dying but if you take your animal to another vet you will be told that what is dying is treatable. if you love your animals do not take them here they do not care about the pet living.
I’ll start off by saying I’ve been taking my dog here since he was a puppy and he will be 11 in a couple months and generally think they do a good job and care about the animals. That said i had to write something based on my last experience. I scheduled an appointment to bring my dog in for an allergy shot as he’s been especially itchy in recent weeks. i can’t even begin to tell you why i wouldn’t recommend this place, after my dogs booster shot i’ll be taking all my records and switching.
This vet is ridiculous and so unprofessional. My dog had numerous ear infection and I literally have tried every medication and also had it sent out and cultured. Only to found out that when they shipped it out my dog was on a Antibiotic and it came back inconclusive. Which they new it would because they put her on the antibiotic and shipped it out. Don’t worry tho they also wAnted me to pay again to ship it out. My dog hurt her leg and couldn’t walk so I brought her in to be checked. They X-ray her and Proceeded to tell me ... read more
We have been going here for about 2.5 years and generally have never had any issues. Our dog was prescribed an antibiotic on Friday 3/29 for a urinary tract infection. She has not been eating, vomiting and having diarrhea from the meds and I called at 730am this morning to consult a doctor. It is now 718pm and I have yet to receive a call. I realize we are not their only client but this is happening more and more lately. Not happy.
Took my puppy here for both the vet and the resort side. The first few times at the vet the DR made me feel stupid when I had questions. This is the first dog I’ve ever had so everything is new to me.. They have looked at me sideways for some of the questions I asked. I decided to put my pup in day care once a week and never had an issue for about 5 months.
