DO NOT SEND YOUR PET HERE!!! After 9 years of ups and downs at this establishment, owners changing hands and Vets coming and going. Brightwoods owner did not take accountability for mistakes that had been made with my Yorkshire terrier and basically showed me the door so I would not be a problem for them anymore. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! After taking my dog there for a surgery, and him passing 2 days later. I will warn anyone. If your animal needs a major surgery, DO NOT GO HERE. They refuse to admit they did anything wrong. just sad.

What they do before an appointment is very stupid a deposit before they even see an animal is silly and I’m glad I elected to cancel my cat’s appointment to go elsewhere that DOES NOT CHARGE A DEPOSIT FOR SOMETHING SO STUPID. They could take down the sign that says please don't yell at staff, because it's pretty rude to accuse people of yelling, you obviously get yelled at a lot to put that sign up. I completely understand why people would yell when you don't act like you care about the patients or the owner. Try smiling, and acting like what the owner says is important. I am working toward being a Registered Vet Tech and served the first day of my internship with Brightwood. I am incredibly impressed with the doctors, vet techs, and front desk staff. Most noteworthy is the incredibly compassionate care of every animal. Maximum efforts are made to keep animals as comfortable as possible. I have gone to Brightwood for about a year now with my dog. She suffers allergy’s. I went in on a Tuesday in June and they gave her three meds and wrapped her foot. This was after an initial visit with my adult daughter two weeks prior. After that appointment she mentioned they were not very nice , they did not give her the impression that they cared to much.
