RecommendedAll of the amazing nurses, the CRNAs, the surgical team, the imaging crew, Dr. Bhat, and everyone in between were excellent in providing care to me. First off, in the past, I have had two negative experiences with the emergency room, at the Brookings Hospital. I have needed a knee replacement for a few years, and most doctors were hesitant, because of my age (I am only 48). Dr. Meyer was ready to do it. My stay in the hospital was great, Dr. Leadabrand is amazing. The nurses and the hospital stay were great. Dr. Meyer improved my quality of life!

My husband had major shoulder surgery yesterday and everybody is soooo nice there. It all went very smooth and he's doing great. couldn't ask for a better hospital ... other than them needing way more comfortable chairs.

I recently was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy here in Brookings. I am so grateful that I found out that Dr Oey is certified in breast cancer, and that I could do this portion of my journey right here in Brookings. Dr Oey is amazing with her knowledge skill and "bedside manner". All the staff at the BHS, especially nurse Staci, were caring and supportive of not only my self but my family as well. I would recommend BHS any time!

We are so incredibly lucky to have Brookings Health System in our community. We have had both of our sons here, one before the renovation, one after, and our experiences both times were amazing. Very skilled doctors and nurses made me feel at ease, and there was never a doubt in any of our minds that we were in the best care possible! Highly recommend BHS!
