I was very pleasantly surprised by our dining experience at The Brooklyn Diner Times Square. I learned that it was a very old establishment with lots of history. The menu was filled with delicious options for comfort food at decent price points. I had the pastrami reuben and it was fabulous. My daughter had the cheeseburger and it was also delicious. The service was friendly and we were in and out in time to get to our Broadway show. I would recommend this to diners looking for an authentic New York diner experience.
Good place to meet a business contact. The food was good the bathrooms were clean.the food showed up timely. What more can you ask for?
Great service
Reservation seated on time. Service excellent food brought to table quickly and very hot. Wait time for the food was short. Meal was after a show but we heard another group come in whom were first going to a show and were told they would make it. Overall this is the third time we ate hear after a show and will do so again
Seated immediately... Our play was across the street, so the location was perfect. Grilled cheese was better than expected and so was my partner's steak sandwich; however, I could not add anything to my selection, i.e., a burger patty to the grilled cheese; and they didn't serve onion rings. Fries were not that great.
Good restaurant to dine at pre-theater, given its location. Food is OK, but service is quick and friendly if you are in a hurry to make a show.
We took our grandchild to her first Broadway show and we went to the Brooklyn Diner first. The service was great - friendly, patient, appropriately attentive. We had breakfast food - pancakes, an omelette and avocado toast. Everything was good and plentiful. We weren’t rushed. The diner was clean (including the bathroom). Despite being priced a bit on the high side, the location makes it a great choice before a matinee.
Delicious food, WONDERFUL Cheesecake, professional, attentive and courteous staff and manager on duty.
Nice, clean, semi quiet, spacious place to grab a meal before a show. Love that reservations are available. Food is simple but very tasty; some great combinations and twists on classic dishes. Great variety for families.
