Quickly seated. Fun, attentive server. Veggie burger--one of the best i've had. That's why I keep coming back.
The Brooklyn Diner was a great choice for a pre-theater lunch. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation but they sat us right away. Waitress was great and the food very good, but pricey.
Felt like I was back in Brooklyn. Great atmosphere. Food was delicious! We had a veggie burger which was succulent and very tasty... and... the matzo ball soup which was excellent as well as the rugelach which were scrumptious. To top it all off, the service was perfect, friendly, and all the staff actually looked like they were happy to be there. My only issue is that the prices were a bit over-the-top for me. However, I will definitely return.

I ordered the chicken burrito, which turned out to be a great decision. The seasoning was outstanding. Large portions are given- beware!
A fun place to go before a Sunday matinee. It was very crowded when we arrived at 1:45 and reservations definitely helped. Hostess and server were pleasant and service was ok for a busy Sunday, OJ was forgotten til end of the meal. Husband's salmon scramble a bit mushy, while eggs-over-hard were way too dry, even for me! We were seated in the very front which added to the noise, the chaotic atmosphere, and unfortunately, the cold air blowing in when door was opened. I can't remember our server's name, but he was incredible. So friendly and helpful. We loved his food suggestions!
Crispy polenta and chicken sausage were standouts. As were the blueberry pancakes. Definitely make reservations!
