It was everything I wanted from a NYC meal. We ate dinner there and all left happy and satisfied.
Surprisingly good although let down by slack service.
Food outstanding, particularly the chicken pot pie. However, the service was very slow.

So glad we went to the Brooklyn Diner. The best meal we had while in NYC and staying in Times Square. The food was amazing, the ambiance fun and our waiter was a doll. The cocktails were great and the portions were exceptional. Price was right too. I would go again and again and again given the chance.
My wife and I were in Manhattan to take her sister to the Downton Abbey exhibit, which the two of us saw in December and knew she would enjoy. We looked for a casual restaurant near the exhibit, tried the Brooklyn diner, and were pleased with the food and the service.
I love the Brooklyn Diner. Have been several times and am never disappointed! Great place, great food, great staff!
Service was slow, food was average but expensive but it is in a central location.
