Very efficient service and always good food. Can’t miss for a good meal.
Very welcoming staff and personable, informative waiter. They were out of a couple of items (which we were informed of prior to ordering) but everything we received was delicious and a sizable portion.
Our last trip to NYC was in 2018 and this was our return visit to this 50’s style diner very near Carnegie Hall. We were delighted this iconic restaurant made it back from the pandemic. We had a wonderful brunch with great attentive service. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Great smoked salmon eggs benedict; my husband loved the pastrami hash.
Food was outstanding and the waiter was terrific. Great service!
We have been to the Brooklyn Diner more than 50 times as the two locations are very convenient for Broadway and Carnegie Hall. It's very good comfort food but recently instead of raising prices as they must and should they play games like eliminating things from their classics like no avocado on "The Perfect Plate" and then charging three bucks to add it. It used to be a perfect plate and now it's an imperfect plate one can upgrade. Dumb and uncharacteristic of Shelly Fireman restaurants that aim to please not squeeze.
The chicken pot pie and matzo ball soup was delicious!
Great place to go! You feel comfortable and welcome the moment you enter the place. Food is good, spirits are high. Very enjoyable!
We have been going there for years. We love the place and we have always been seated no matter how crowded. Great people work there and the food is fantastic Never been dissatisfied. The do breakfast RIGHT!!!!!
