Good, reasonable choice for this area. They were packed, and had more waiting, so it took some prompts for service at times. Generally very nice wait staff.
Always wanted to try this place since diners are a dying breed and as a native New Yorker, nostalgic for the good old days of table top jukeboxes and burger deluxes with oversized portions of steak fries, pickles, cole slaw and two giant onion rings. It too flexible with the menu, nothing for people who’d like to eat light (turkey, etc). Pricey
ALWAYS GREAT PLACE TO GRAB A HOME COOKED MEAL WITH NICE FOLKS
Visiting NYC. Fantastic food and service in a great, friendly atmosphere
Always like Brooklyn Diner but you really need to bring back the Asian Chicken Salad with the peanut dressing. Really don’t like the one on the menu now.
This was a last minute reservation that we picked b/c we were looking for fettuccine Alfredo. It was on the openTable menu, but was not on the restaurant menu. Burgers were terrific, salmon was fair, but the advocado mint sauce was a bit strange. Comfortable setting for a family or group. I would not recommend for a date night.

Even for NYC , prices are tourist high. Ordered a bowl of split pea soup with frankfurter chunks. Price 10.50. When it came I got excited, a huge bowl! But when they placed it down it was barely half full. Pleeeaaase! An egg cream $7.50 with so little chocolate in it had to send it back for more which made all the difference. The hummus starter was good though with fresh carrot strips and peppers along with pita.
