Would have given a fifth star for "food" but the Green Pea Soup with Hot Dogs is no longer on the menu. Everything else was first class Ira Wachtel
The chicken soup and the chicken pot pie were both amazing! We didn't catch our servers name, but everyone we spoke with was very pleasant and friendly
Had a nice pre-Carnegie Hall dinner here. It wasn't fabulous, but it was good. It's pricey for what you get, but this is a very expensive area of town and they have to pay rent. For almost $28, the burger was on the small side, as were the fries, but both were very good. There was no pickle, but I forgot about it until after I'd finished eating. We made a reservation, because we knew how busy this place would be on a Sunday! Good thing we did!! People were trying to do walk ins but they made a reservation only announcement. Food was delicious, our server was amazing and though we finished our meals quickly, we didn’t feel rushed. Would 10/10 recommend
Always delightful; never miss it when I’m in NYC!
Brooklyn Diner is a great spot for having brunch with friends visiting the city, being just a few minutes from the southern end of Central Park. The menu isn't too large, but offers some excellent options both for a sweet tooth and a more savory palate. The service was great, and we'll be going back again for sure!
Sadly not as good as it once was. Large plates sparsely populated by the food made a less than desirable presentation. Overcooked eggs the most disappointing aspect of our breakfast. The service however was top notch and friendly.
Wonderful diner on west side (another one in Times Square). Great atmosphere and service is top notch. It is rather pricey and the size of the pastrami sandwich was tiny (compared to Katz Deli) but I guess that's to be expected in the high rent district
Never a miss at Brooklyn Diner. I've been coming here for over 15 years and I've always enjoyed a great meal. Consistency is king and Brooklyn Diner proudly and deservedly wears that crown.
