Wasn’t impressed with the food. I was here many years ago and it was much better. Our server was wonderful and attentive. The host was very friendly and welcoming.

We had tickets to Carnegie Hall. Restaurant knew we had only an hour. Within that time, we ordered, were served a delicious late breakfast by a delightful waitress. Loved the bacon omlet. Plus the fried polenta certainly beat basic homefries.

Always great to go to the Brooklyn Diner. Their 15 inch hand stuffed hotdog is the best in New York City.

We arrived early for our reservation and we’re seated promptly. Host was pleasant. The booths for two are uncomfortably tight, especially with winter coats to accommodate. Menu had good variety. Hot chocolate was just warm and is very rich. Food was ok - eggs and bacon were undercooked, toast not really toasted. Service was inattentive. Expensive.

This is a go to place for us when we are in New York. Always get the pot pie as it is the best anywhere.

The food really is very good, and their staff attentive and helpful. Only caveat during this visit: the outside temperatures seemed to make even the diner's indoor seating area quite chilly, and I, like several other patrons, kept my winter coat on during our visit. Looking forward to our next time there, maybe in warmer weather :)

I would love to come to Brooklyn Diner everyday, but I live in Long Island.....so next time I am working / visiting Manhattan, I will definitely come again for lunch and/or dinner. Thank you.
