Convenient location if you’re seeing a show at Carnegie Hall or City Center, but it will cost you! Good diner food, but the prices in the menu may shock you.

We had breakfast on a Sunday 8:15 AM. My wife had the Huevos Rancheros and I had the blueberry pancakes. Both were very good. It was not crowded at that hour, but was starting to fill up when we left. Pricey, but that's Manhattan!

We went for breakfast two days in a row (but got smart and made a reservation for our second visit). Service was generally friendly and prompt. First morning, my husband's dish was tepid at best, but was promptly replaced by a fresh, hot one. Chocolate babke french toast was amazing, blueberry pancakes also very good. Blueberry muffin in a mug was tasty, I can't figure out if they baked it in the mug or put it in after if was baked. Great tea selection, my husband said coffee was good (and he's picky). Very loud inside, so d... read more

It’s a popular restaurant, however, the food is not top notch compared to the restaurants in Toronto Canada. The prices are high compared to the value you get. The air conditioning wasn’t working also when it was over 90 Farenheight outside. The food was just okay. The restaurant is overhyped because so called famous people visit there. Average restaurant with high prices. Service was also average. If air conditioner wasn’t working they should have a fan.

Had a great breakfast on our last day in the city. A first visit to this particular Diner, which we found less busy/hectic than the one near Time Square. We’ve been to the TS Brooklyn Diner on multiple theater outings, and we were pleasantly surprised to find this gem right around the corner from our hotel on this trip. Near Carnegie Hall. Food here is always delicious and well prepared, no matter which Diner you choose. The staff and service are friendly and first class all the way. We’ll definitely be back.

Friendly, fast service in this classic American diner, with an extensive menu of food and drink. The small brass plaques on the walls with the names of famous people who have dined there is a nice touch and provides a good talking point for diners.
