Terrible draft coming from the door. Waiter not attentive at all. No place to wait for table and terrible crowded. But food was good.
Food was AWESOME but expensive! We thought since it was a diner they would serve breakfast all day, but stop serving at 11:15. MAKE RESERVATIONS...this place was packed full of people & very busy. Overall good experience & would recommend.
Once again the Chicken Pot Pie was amazing... They know how to treat their customers!
A weekend brunch gem!
We weren't sure about a 50s-looking diner set square on W. 57 St., but the reviews are good. It is a very, very busy place for Saturday breakfast/brunch. And despite making reservations, we had to wait a good 20 minutes anyway--seemed like it didn't matter if you had made them or not. Having said that, the menu was nice and my kugel dish was excellent. My husband had the Tony Bennett chocolate french toast and was very happy with that. It's a nice change from 'fine atmosphere' restaurants; great, cozy feel for a cool morning... read more
Just what we needed
We got there 8 minutes late for our reservation and waited an additional 15, the host forgot we made a reservation but was very kind and apologetic when we told him again then seated us right away and gave us champagne on the house. The food was very good but too expensive for what you get...typical of a big city. The freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious though, and worth every drop!
Great place for breakfast. Glad we booked as it was really busy and there was a queue of people waiting. Obviously very popular. Service and food both excellent.
