We love Brooklyn Diner! We go here every time we’re in NYC. Service was a bit slow and inattentive this time, but still friendly. Side note, it was slow and pretty empty when we arrived, but they did get very busy in a short period of time a bit later, so I’m sure that contributed to the slower than usual service. Still one of our favorites though!
Table ready for us when we arrived. A little pricey ....ok food, not great.
Guy and the rest if the staff were fantastic! Took friends from Brasil and we all had a fabulous time celebrating one of our birthdays!
I love going to Brooklyn Diner - whether its 57 ST or W 43 ST< Great food HUGE portions. Clean and fun and relaxed.
Stopped in with a friend for a quick bite before a show at City Center. Wings were cooked well, though really could have used some sort of sauce, bbq, buffalo, anything... Tap beers tasted fresh. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. Would go again if in the neighborhood.
The atmosphere was retro. Food was well prepared comfort style. Great host and wait staff. We were impressed.

We stopped for dinner before going to Carnagie Hall. Great location. Not expecting anything fancy since it was called a diner, but the experience was perfect. Great food. Fast friendly service. Down to earth home cooking. Ideal for a quick good meal before the concert or any time of day. Our first time there but we will go back.
We had a reservation for a Sun. evening and we were seated immediately. Our server was perfect, checking in several times throughout the meal. Varied menu includes vegetarian options. My family is hooked on the chicken soup and pastrami sandwiches. A good pre-Carnegie Hall choice for a family meal.
