I go to Cafe Fiorello almost every week and it is always like dining with old friends there. The food is better than ever thanks to Chef Pasquale and the staff could not be more attentive and helpful. My most recent lunch was a delicious Caesar salad with the home made croutons like crunchy little pillows of cheesy goodness. Then I enjoyed the chef's special fish dish of the day which was velvety ribbons of fresh tagliatelle served with mixed sea food in a light tomato sauce. I ate every single bite it was so delicious. It's a summer institution for us to have the superb fried artichokes and wonderful thin crust pizza on the outdoor terrace, this year accompanied by a pale delicious glass of Tuscan rose. Always a pleasure.

We went for an early dinner after seeing The King and I... and before we took the train back to Philadelphia. The service was excellent, the menu broad enough for picky eaters and the food was wonderful. My granddaughters loved the salads. Then, one had the salmon and the other had ravioli.. Both were happy with their selection.. I had the lobster/shrimp with pasta, which was delicious. A NY friend recommended this restaurant to us for it's food and convenience to Lincoln Center. Both were true.

Don't get me wrong, I like Fiorello's. I just happen to like it less than I did 10 years ago. Back then, before the Boulud's, the Smith, Atlantic Grill, PJ Clarke, and so on, Fiorello was king. Great good, great atmosphere, great. Big menu, big wine list, big crowds. Now you can tell, they're hurting. With a slimmed down menu, wine list and no waiting, it's time to freshen the place up.

Great location, good food. Service just a bit slow but very pleasant. Had the lasagna which is very non-traditional and delicious! Would recommend and will go back.

I always order the lasagna. My wife tried the baked eggplant parmigiana for the first time and really enjoyed it. The baked goods on the way out are always a nice touch. This has become our regular place to eat whenever we are in the area, especially before one of our shows at Lincoln Center.

Make it a point to eat at Cafe Fiorello every single time I'm in NYC. Have been eating here for years and have never been disappointed. It's a bustling, lively spot that consistently delivers on food quality and attentive service. They always accommodate my food allergies and even offer a wide variety of gluten-free selections. Kids are not treated as a nuisance, but are embraced. It is always busy so reservations are a good idea. Don't miss out on the chicken parm with pepperoni!

We took our ten year old grandson to his first show (King and I), and then to Cafe Fiorello across the street. We were worried it would be mobbed after the show, but we were seated immediately at a nice table inside. Although busy, our waitress came quickly, and was very helpful and knew the large menu quite well. The food was all excellent. The only confusion was that the menu said no pizza until after 8PM but many were served while we were there at 6. Tables are close together, but this is New York so we expect that.
