Excellent pizza & attentive service were the highlights of a post-matinee concert meal -- a late lunch/early light dinner-type meal. As the restaurant filled with pre-evening concertgoers, however, the noise level went from loud to frantic & it was good to get outside. Fiorello's is pricey for any kind of meal, but it is so convenient to Lincoln Center that it is hard to beat.

This was an off night at a restaurant we have frequented for many years. We've rarely had a problem with the food and, fortunately, what came out of the kitchen was delicious, as usual. But it came out so slowly that there was no time for dessert -- a pity because we adore the limoncello tarte (one of our favourites anywhere). But our real complaint this evening was that we waited 25 minutes for my husband's martini and when it arrived it was not potable and seemed to not have been made with the requested brand of gin. This is a favorite for late evening dining ... after a movie -- it's right near Lincoln Plaza Cinema -- or after one of the great events at Lincoln Center (it's across Broadway from Lincoln Center). The food is always delicious, with a wide choice, in the Italian style. Great antipasto bar (you can make a whole dinner of antipasto!) -- I had delicious steamed mussels. There are fine fish selections, meats, and pizza too. Great energy. We always enjoy Cafe Fiorello.

Tables are too close together and menu has gotten overpriced.

LOVED it. The veal Milanese is to die for. Great location for Lincoln Center.

we enjoyed everything- the staff was very accomodating; we showed up with an extra person, 15 minutes ahead of time. we were seated immediately, and both the service and food were great!

Cafe Fiorello was recommended to us as a "good place to eat prior to attending a performance at Lincoln Center," and the experience surpassed our expectations! We had an early reservation and sat outside on a brilliant sunny late afternoon. The Cafe filled up soon after we arrived; yet, our waiter, despite being busy, gave us the gift of making us feel as though we were his only customers! The food was wonderful, the "something to drink before dinner" was innovative and good, and the wine recommendation was very fine, too!

This was my second time there. It was okay, but not great. Salads never arrived, nor did dessert without some prodding. The meal, Lamb oso busco was good, but not great. It was a bit on the cool side. They were very busy, and things kept getting lost in the rush. I will give the waiter credit for having a good knowledge of the menu and wines, but he was a bit un-organized. I was there in December and it was much better. I'd try it again. Sometimes places just have a bad day.

We have dined there before and like the atmosphere and the menu. This time we had their speciality lasagne which was different and very good. However, the bread was loaded with salt and I thought that some of it seemed as if it were crusted in salt. I thought I would turn into Lot's wife. The food was so salty that we gulped down glass after glass of water. Plus, bar service to the tables is slow--too few bartenders on duty during the very busy pre-theater period-I saw only two. It's very surprising since liquor is where the... read more
