Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

The food was very tasty and the homemade chocolate cookies were a great treat!
Much friendlier service than I've come to expect in NYC. Consistently excellent food. But it is SO noisy, and the atmosphere just isn't conducive to conversation. Maybe we'll ask to sit somewhere else next time.
The food was solidly good but marred by inadequate presentation. A request for a tomato and mozzarella salad resulted in a huge blob of cheese with a separate plate of tomatoes. Reasonably priced with a nice short suggested wine list which had good values. The restaurant was an assault on the senses, however. Service was pleasant but very rushed and clipped. The noise level was very high. Not a soothing experience.
The restaurant is good. Food is pretty good - standard fare. The place is quite small and crowded. You can spend as much time as you like - no one hurries you along. The service is very attentive. Be careful if you add appetizers or drinks - the bill adds up quite fast.
My mistake was going at 7 ish right before they are rushing to get all the show people out. Food is always great here. WE will be back!
Overall experience was festive and fun and the food was very good . It was superbusy on a Saturday night, but we were promptly seated, and the staff was very attentive and good humored.
The only thing that keeps me from visiting Cafe Fiorello regularly is the unbearable noise level and the closeness of the tables. It is like economy class in the center section of a 747! As we had an early reservation and were seated in the room away from the antipasta bar it was not as bad as it has been on previous occasions. But even there, by the time we had finished our dinner and the restaurant had filled, we could not wait to leave. As the restaurant is extremely popular my criticism hardly matters.
Very New York...good food and service, full of theater-goers and happy folk.
Good pizza, appetizer bar, but a little expensive for these times.
