Excellent Staff was very nice. We could walk to other hotels where other family members were.
This places makes me and my dogs happy!! The beds....definitely in need of replacing, saggy and no support. The $25 per pet per day dog fee...would rather pay one fee per stay not per night as they only have to clean the room once after we leave. Love the theme, the Reef Restaurants food, the great little dog park, the Hawaiian music playing on the grounds, the large room and parking right out front, the friendly accommodating staff.
A fun retreat The check in time and check out time made a one night stay feel a bit rushed. The Reef Bar has a great vibe and was a really nice addition to the property.
Great location but a bit rough around the edges Beds and pillows are a little aging. Some of the rooms have a stale smoke smell and the property in general is a little tatty. It used to be great value for money, but it seems like prices have increased dramatically in the past few years. Location and refurbished Tiki bar are great. Also like the on site restaurant and the cool architecture.
Apart from the extra overhead refundable charge, everything was great. Upon checkout I discovered that I had paid an extra $100 bond with covers any extras in our stay. I did not agree to this when I booked through booking.com. I was told this would be refunded within 7 working days. For travellers on a budget this should be made very clear. The vibe, the location, the Tiki! We got a mediocre room this time. It was worn down, with damaged side table, paint chips off the floor, semi-uncomfortable bed and huge pillows. The tiki bar, the pool and hot tub, and the cool tiki vibe are just awesome. We love this place, despite the rooms being a crapshoot. For the price and s quick overnight stay a good value with 2 restaurants and bar Room was clean , but only a thin blanket on the bed , it was 34 degrees and our heater in the room did not work , a second quilt needed . Noisy plumbing , and thin walls . Great staff , The Reef made great cocktails and bar grub , also a great friendly waitress Nice pool and jacuzzi area
