Our experience with California Pools has been great! Given the supply chain issues and short supply of trades, there were delays between certain steps. However, our scheduling contact, *****************************, has been absolutely AMAZING at keeping us informed about everything! All our questions to her were met with efficient and quick responses. She had patience with me bombarding her almost daily about this or that. We couldnt have asked for a better contact!! The after service this company gives is really outstanding. Especially given a time when employees are hard to find and keep. They are always professional, on time and solve any issue I've ever had. ***** and ****** are friendly and accommodating when you call in and ******** ****** and team come on time, are very informative, and willing to explain how to better maintain your pool. My pool and yard are amazing! ******************* helped design my vision. ******************************* and *********************** are AMAZING! **** was here almost every day, making sure things were going well and inspecting! ******** is a mad scheduler(I mean that in a good way)!! I couldn't be happier with my final product! **** is a good new addition!

Poor communication and business practices. The day came to meet our project manager, *****. He was extremely unprofessional, unqualified for the job and a poor communicator. He asked what will it take to get 5 stars at the end, my only comment to him was I expected communication and for the project to stay on schedule. Well, neither of those things happened. What he said would be a 12 week job took 20 weeks. It was excuse after excuse. The fence took 2 weeks to have put back up. Every morning for 20 weeks, i woke up wonderin... read more

I would give negative stars is the site allowed, so 1 star is an ****** generous review. I am close to 3 years into a project with Cal Pools, and its still not complete. Mistake after mistake and excuse and excuse as to why they wont work. I am still getting the covid excuse 2 years later. There have been occasions where no one shows up for over 6 months. The biggest issue I still have is they build a 4 foot perimeter wall when I paid for a 6 foot wall. They keep promising to fix the wall, and 9 months later its still not co... read more

Don't make your last payment until ALL the work is completed. We had our pool built and although they did a good job, they never completed the finishing work. I contacted the job site contractor numerous times but he blamed it on an outside vendor (I kept all emails and texts). Had I known this, I would never had made the final payment until it was done. I asked when I made the final payment when they'd be back to finish and they said within a few weeks. Those weeks turned into months and then a year. They never responded.
