The service director Jimmy Chu is a total jerk to customers and now I am no longer supporting Toyota. Sold my car and moving on.

They were over charging for the work and recommended more than needed to be done I found out afterwards. The control arm was recommended to be changed when all that was needed were new bushings. They had to rebalance the wheels which was an extra charge. I had told them the tire pressure sensor was faulty. They replaced pressure sensor in all 4 wheels. I'm just tired of all the upselling. ..I was hostage for two hours (to buy an extended warranty) after buying the certified used vehicle with 12k miles and still under warranty. I got two years of free oils changes,,.a bonus, but again the upselling at the oil change...a 189.00 alignment without showing me the diagram and two other items that I can't remember. The people are nice, but the upselling is over the top annoying.

I was told 2 hours for an oil change and to investigate a noise coming from my drivers side wheel area. He believed the noise was from the rotor, I figured he had zero mechanical knowledge but the techs should be able to figure it out. After 2 hours I get a call from Jesus saying my cat shield is in the way and they need to take it off. I said that's not possible because the cat shield covers the transmission area, not the oil pan. Overcharged service bill $40. 00 from the quote they gave me. Plus they wanted me to do additional work for over $1100. My home mechanic agreed that was unnecessary since the Highlander had only 36,000 miles on it. Then no one was able to figure out instrument panel settings (service, sales, manager). They said they would get back to me about my complaint but never did.

BE CAREFUL Some days ago, 03/19/26 I was in Camelback Toyota, service department to oil and filter change. Well, not only $20 more than Bell Toyota, today 04/11/26 I checked my oil, because I had a doubt, this last time was so fast that service… THEN, MY OIL IS NOT CLEAR AS NEW OIL, IS DIRTY, DARK BROWN. Looks like they didn’t change it.
🚨 LEGAL ACTION IN PROGRESS – Camelback Toyota 🚨 Sold me a car that broke down in days and stranded me with my child. Ran my credit 8–15 times without consent and refused my $2,500 back. 👉 Deceptive, unsafe, and not worth the risk.
Had a terrible experience with the rep that sold me my truck. Rude. Rushed me. I never tried to negotiate or hassle. Then when the truck has a massive repair that Toyota acknowledges they made a mistake manufacturing. They refuse to fix it. Truck has 33k miles.... Not to mention being told I must pay for a diagnostic despite telling them my issue. Just a unbelievable experience all around.
