They did not come back and compact the ground footing supports for the deck. They also never delivered or install the vinyl drip siding piece. I know we are at the extreme end of their territory but we paid a more than fair price for the deck and it should be completed small piece or not.
I will not recommend this company. The salesman that I worked with was pushy and aggressive. He called me while I was driving or out to dinner. I told him several times that I couldn’t talk at the moment and he persisted. He kept throwing more and more discounts my way. I got so tired of talking to him I just said , “fine let’s do this deck”. The time frame he gave me was 3-5 days with a crew of 3-5 guys. Completley dissatisfied to much to write .
My experience with Capital Construction has been mixed: some issues with their sub-contractor for gutters. Did a terrible job and their largest mistake has not been fixed yet. What is worse: the mistake is on the front of the house. I might not have made an issue of it if it was on the back of the house; but it isn't. The communication between the salesman and the people hired to do the work was not very good. Things done at the beginning of the project weren't correct. Communication at very beginning was off so it delayed the project.
Will recommend to other people
The purchase pressure during the pitch and lack of follow-through will not allow me to provide a positive recommendation for Capital Construction. During the "pitch" I was offered a discounted rate that was then "re-negged" because it did not apply to masonry work which is what was being done at my home. The job started in August and lasted one week, however Capital Construction did not return until November to repair issues identified by the Project Manager during the final walkthrough.
