Position Overview: The AI Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of AI developers, data scientists, and engineers to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Do:

Join a forward-thinking creative team tuned-in to current and future design trends and techniques. You’ll report directly to the Creative Director, Brand, and be a key team member involved in the ideation and execution of everything we do as a design team.

Whether it’s supporting our Content Team with blog images, infographics, and interactive content, working with Marketing to create landing pages, ads, and experiences for social media, or mentoring our junior designers, you’ll bring your insights and skill to bear on it all.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of AI professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Set clear goals and expectations, and monitor team performance.

AI Strategy:

• Collaborate with senior management to define the company's AI strategy and roadmap.
• Identify opportunities for AI integration and expansion across various products and services.

Project Management:

• Plan, prioritize, and oversee the execution of AI projects from conception to completion.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team.
• Participate in hands-on development and problem-solving when necessary.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and software engineers, to integrate AI solutions into software products.
• Foster collaboration and communication between AI and software development teams.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure the quality and accuracy of AI models and algorithms.
• Implement best practices for testing and validation of AI systems.

Resource Management:

• Manage resources effectively, including budget allocation and staffing.
• Recruit, train, and develop AI team members.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain clear and comprehensive project documentation.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Ph.D. preferred).
• Proven experience in AI development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment of AI models is a plus.
