Not thrilled with the approach to animal care here. It's a factory. The doctors don't take time to explain the treatment(s) they're recommending nor why. If you want the fastest service and a cookie-cutter approach to animal care. This is your place. If you want to be involved in the decision of what tests, vaccines, and treatments are necessary before they're provided and billed, maybe not the ideal location. Caring Hands, "he who pays should have a say". Slow down. This is animal care, not an assembly line.

We are disheartened to hear about your feedback. Our practice manager, Jennifer, called to speak with you further and left a message. Please give us a call back at your earliest convenience so we may better understand your concerns. We look forward to hearing from you.
We have been going here for 14+ years. So I do have a lot of experience with this vet. My previous cat, they were wonderful with all the way to the end. I am unsure what has happened since then, but I think they do a great job talking with you about your pets needs, but I don't think they listen. Let me preface this by saying we are not the professionals by any means, however we have been through a lot with our pets to sometimes know what has worked with them in the past. Recently, my cat came down with some issues, the... read more

We very much appreciate you not only taking the time to share your feedback here but also in speaking with us on the phone. Collaborative care is a cornerstone of our philosophy and we disappointed that it was not achieved. We hope to have the opportunity to serve both you and your pets in the future. Please feel free to reach out to Dr. Vitulli directly if you have any further questions or concerns.
Absolutely the worst veterinarian hospital I've ever done business with. They will try to up-sale you on testing that your pet does not need. They may be reasonably priced or so it seems but instead of grouping vaccinations together they schedule you several different appointments that add up over time. One of my dogs is extremely active and fit and I was accused of not feeding my dog enough food. When they asked me how much I fed him I told them 4cups in the am and 4 in the pm and tried telling me he needs more when he can ... read more

We regret you have had a negative experience at our practice. Your feedback is extremely important to us and we would like to reach out and learn from your experience. Dr. Vitulli has tried to reach out via phone and email and we would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. We hope to hear from you soon.
Dr. Abraham was able to help with an allergy issue, so that was positive. Unfortunately, each time I visit Caring Hands, I usually spend about an hour and a half between the appointment and waiting. Each time I go, there is an emergency that always pulls the doctor away the last half hour of the appointment, leaving us sitting and forgotten about in the exam room. Every single time. The last time, the vet assistant was surprised we were still sitting in the exam room. We were there because no one came back to close the ... read more

Communication is so important when an emergency arrives at the practice and delays our regularly scheduled appointments. We apologize that we did not properly communicate the appointment delays while you were at our hospital. We understand how frustrating that can be for our patients and our clients. This will be addressed with all our staff and appreciate your honest and candid feedback.
In my opinion. Dr. Boyd didn't do all she could've done, she mis-diagnosed my pet and did not run proper tests, and my beloved pet died that evening, the treatment she provided was "a shot in the dark" in her exact words. I absolutely hate this office. I've gone here at least 6 times over the past couple of years and honestly its never been even a decent experience. I would never recommend them. A lot of locals in Bristow have said the same.

We were very saddened by Fluffy's sudden passing in February. We also are very saddened that you have been unhappy with the service you have received at our practice. We value everyone's input and would like the opportunity to discuss your feedback. We hope to speak with you soon.
Doctors are not experienced with poor quality work, very upsetting and stressful when it comes to your beloved pet. Really nice employees, who seem to care and follow up with your visits, but that is just not enough when it comes to important things like surgery!!! I'm sure there may be some capable doctors there but we got a horrible one so I'm not sure how their hiring process works. I never write reviews but I thought this one was important because it is the only way to hold them accountable. I would never wish anything ... read more

Joe - We are so sorry you did not have an exceptional experience with us. We would love the opportunity to speak with you about this and identify areas of improvement. Your feedback is very important to us. Please call to speak to the practice manager at the location you visited. We look forward to hearing from you!
It's very difficult to find a GREAT veterinarian. We thought perhaps we were on the path to finding someone who could help us manage our rescue dog's epilepsy. But alas. Caring Hands will not work with us to secure the medications our dog needs from from Foster & Smith. They claim not to work with Internet pharmacies. We explained that we could purchase the medication for 1/4th the cost from Foster & Smith (clearly a reputable vender) and that the medication was not available locally. (Caring Hands referred us to a pharmacy... read more
