Cozy room in the heart of Carmel by the Sea The location was fantastic, right next to an excellent restaurant, Forge in the Forest . The room was quirky and didn't seem to be vacuumed but you can't beat the price.
The Clarion Experience or Christmas at the Clarion My hair dryer didn't work. I reported it when I checked out. The young man was very sorry & offered to get me another one. Unfortunately, my son was picking me up any minute to go to my daughters. I didn't have time but thanked him. I was impressed w/his sincere concern. One more little thing. I've stayed there before. & the breakfast basket had a different fruit each morning, i.e. a banana, orange, Also, I was alone; but, they gave me 2 of everything every morning I suggest... read more

Very good hotel. Highly recommend. Very good hotel! Much better than I expected. The location is a little difficult to find at night but many restaurants around it. The room is very clean and the bed is king sized. The shampoo and body lotion are very good. The breakfast is good too. I will highly recommend this hotel.
