I love the store and their products. Customer service was always available, but I mean ALWAYS available. We had people interrupting us to offer help every three minutes. Literally. We stopped shopping because we were tired of talking to them.
I have never owned a pair of cowboy boots in my entire 42 years. While visiting one of my close childhood friends (who has been a cowgirl since birth) she decided to take me boot shopping. Never in my life did I think that I would buy a pair of cowboy boots but I am so glad that I did. These boots are amazing and the service we got from the salesman there was superb. I needed a new pair of boots for me and my daughter so we went here because it only seems natural. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted and shown where the boots my size were. I was given room to shop without being neglected. I didn't come prepared with long socks so they gave me a pair to use while I tried on many pairs before I chose the perfect one. I'm from California and I wanted to get my husband a cowboy hat from Texas, I mean, that's what people do, right? My lovely cousin brings me here, Cavender's, where she bought her cowboy boots. We peruse the hats, calling husband up to see what his hat size is. I had no idea there were sizes for hats? We pick out a hat, then go over and look at the super cute cowboy boots. Lots to choose from.
I think google maps has the location a bit off since this place is on the right side of the access road going North, anyhow. I always find what I am looking for at this place. My first experience of looking for a pair of Ropers was not easy. I tried several boot places but could not find the right pair. Went in there maybe 5 customers. Walked around no one asked us if we needed help. Wanted to buy a new hat and the Mrs. Wanted her first pair of boots. Now I understand why there was no cars in the parking lot...old out dates poor service. Going to the one in Plano as I used to shop there all the time. Gonna drive 45 minutes but I know it is worth the drive. What a joke of a store. I worked at Cowtown boots and Allen's when I was at UT. Never go back to that location.
Randy from this location is so rude! Tried to find a specific size and he was extremely demeaning and had an attitude. When I asked if he had a size, I waited for him to be ready to type in the style number, but instead he says "we have over a hundred pair of jeans so how do you expect me to find them". Terrible customer service at the hat counter. Sunday- November 7th. Waited forever. 1 person in front of me who I believe was getting "several" hats reshaped and formed! I felt I was very patient, but also felt that I was a problem and should just go away. Purchased a $260.00 Stetson Cowboy hat.
