I do not understand when you walk into a store to purchase an item (pair of boots) and the two people are so busy on their phones at the cash register they can't even come over to help! No boots bought and will probably never go there again! Customer service needs help! I will drive to NRS next time which is an hour further but a lot better costumer service!
Lewisville location - GM Julie Hamlin refused to help without giving a condescending and rude attitude. In the last year I have bought six hats multiple for summer multiple for winter and three pairs of boots... I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CAVENDERS AGAIN!!!! Randy asked who helped us at the register, my girlfriend and I stated help was offered by multiple employees but we didn't need or accept help. Randy then sighed and left hen shook his head. He was obviously irritated for some reason. Won't be back, specifically for this reason.
My granddaughter and I went to Cavenders in Lewisville last Wednesday to purchase a pair of boots for her. When we pulled up there was only one other car in the parking lot. We walked in and noticed one women behind the desk and another women employee talking to her. We walked over to the boot section hoping to see someone that could help us. I'll start by saying I love Cavendar's and I always love coming to the after holiday clearance sale. It's kind of a family tradition. This year I brought my visiting sister-in-law because we were both looking for something fun for New Years at Billy Bob's. I'm was so disappointed in the service this time! Customer service and quality goes down and the prices go up. I was very disappointed and embarrassed for bringing my friend to a store that used to be a great place to shop. And you can't even shop because every 2 minutes an employee walks up and annoys you and watches you like your a thief or something. Then when you actually want help no one's around. I brought my mother-in-law in to buy her some boots. She's from Europe. The boot salesman proceeded to tell us reasons why he wouldn't go to France. It was very rude and awkward. I hated that he got commission for bad service and even worse small talk.
My boyfriend gets his work clothes and boots from here, so I typically go by obligation. I definitely wouldn't go for leisure. The staff is horrible, rude, pretentious, and condescending. My boyfriend and I walk in to see a bunch of teenagers standing at the registers talking, we get greeted and that's about all I can say for their customer service, considering we never get assistance. I received a giftcard to Cavender's for Christmas. I had wanted a new pair of boots, so I was looking forward to going back to where my dad bought me my first pair and I had bought many over the years.
