At a glance, Cellgate seems like they offer great products and support. My personal experience is completely the opposite. I have a unit that is supposed to work on an app that almost never works and I am supposed to be able to have camera and remote access. My unit has been faulty from the original installation and Cellgate has offered minimal assistance to the required installers. This company is TERRIBLE! For starters, their mobile app is a joke, you can read the hundreds of negative reviews about that on the app store. Their web interface is equally terrible, it automatically logs you out every time after 2 minutes of logging in. However, the worst part is what I've recently experienced. My gate suddenly was stuck propped open, I had no idea why, I attempted to troubleshoot on my own but could not resolve the issue. I called Cellgate last week and spoke with a representative named Eric about setting up an account. He said he would call me back, but never did. My wife already uses their service at her multi-tenant property, and they’ve been dealing with a “press 1” issue for the past two months. Instead of fixing it, they keep pointing fingers and blaming others. Customer service is rude, dismissive, and rushes you off the phone. We’ve had enough — we’re canceling our service and switching to a company that actually cares.

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I feel like I have to warn others. We recently invested in a new gate system to replace some older ones we had issues with, and honestly, it's been a huge disappointment. We had two gates installed over a year ago, and they are more unreliable than the ones we had before! 😩Every service call has ended up costing us, only to face the same frustrating problems again. Software malfunctions are frequent and hidden fees in the software renewal fees. Do NOT install on your gate.

Terrible products that constantly break costing thousands of dollars to repair. They will not repair manufacture defects outside of the warranty.

BEWARE OF CELLGATE PRODUCTS Their cameras breakdown constantly and have been replaced multiple times. They only record data on a SIM card installed in the camera that you cannot access remotely. A thief with a Phillips head screwdriver could easily steal the SIM card and all the data. I just spent closer to $1000 fixing the power supply a few weeks ago.
