We have had to have the gate system fixed every time there has been power outages. That has caused our gates to be open until it was repaired. It seems there is no surge protector built in from what I see was told by an HOA board member. Be carful considering this product.

Avoid Cell Gate. We paid $2000+ for a dealer to install the intercom, only to have it stop working when 3g got phased out. Bad timing, but not our fault and shouldn’t cost us $800+ to fix. I replaced the modem myself after one of their service reps told me which one I needed, and then they refused to activate it because I didn’t buy it from their dealer. We have had CellGate technology for our gate for almost a year now and it has not worked for more than 72 hours. CellGate continues to blame our installer who has rewired the entire gate per CellGate's request even though the tablet CellGate provides is the item that keeps failing. We are now on our third tablet and they have no other solution, except continuing to blame the installer and sending more tablets that fail. I would stay far away from this company. About half the time when somebody dials me, It just Rings and rings and rains, and they get the message that I can't be reached. I have missed several deliveries and i'm not happy. I've unloaded and reloaded the app, and I get the same issue each time. I have a samsung galaxy s twenty three ultra.

My wife can’t get on
I installed one in Oklahoma City it worked perfect for a year then went out after a storm... Called tech support and they walked us through the troubleshooting end to point at the faceplate ???? One was mailed out switched out and unit still does not work ????? I have good signal ,billing ,is up to date and still does not open the gate ???? Refused to cover system under warranty. There were no power surges or lightning in the area at time of failure. System has had intermittent issue opening and closing.
Bad product. I am a contractor who has built over 12,000 homes .and developments.. Poor service on products they say built U.S.A Parts made in China assembled in America. We are professional in our field and refuse to use this product . Denny Hastings
