Developed root canal issues while visiting family. Even though Friday afternoon, Dr Webster made the time to perform root canal surgery. In and out in less than one and a half hours. The following Monday he phoned to check on my progress. Very impressive and grateful.
My root canal: I sat down in the chair and the most pain during the entire process, came from the Novocain injection in the roof of the mouth. The rest was painless. A lot of drilling and leaning back with my mouth open. The procedure took about 45 minutes to an hour. There was some swelling later. However, the prescription provided at the end of the procedure handled that nicely. The overall experience was nothing like the stories you hear. Dr. Smith seemed genuinely concerned with my comfort.
When my dentist told me that I needed a root canal all I remember is what I have heard through the years about the intense pain. Dr. Smith didn't promise anything but I had "0" pain during and after the treatment. The staff made me very comfortable!
I have nothing but good to say about my recent root canal... from answers to many questions, to help coordinating medication issues with other physicians and finally to the procedure itself. Everyone was very professional, thoughtful, kind,pleasant..and of course Dr Smith's skill is to be commended: He made an an uncomfortable procedure quite bearable. My thanks to all of you !
I had an amazing experience with Dr. Whitcomb and his staff. Everyone really. They were carrying and kind. Made a generally not so great experience actually nice. Not only did they got me a same day appointment but Dr. Whitcomb called the next day to folllwo up. If you need an endodontist definitely go with them. Amazing and affordable.
Dr. Smith has preformed 2 root canals for me. Both times, he was very explicit, kind and gentle. Novocaine and Eppy freak me out, but with his reassurance, I was fine. I felt NO pain whatsoever, and followed ALL of his instructions. I had no swelling the next morning, and carried on my normal routine. I feel great and would highly recommend Dr. Smith
I am thrilled with the care I received at Central Ohio Endodontics! Before my appointment, I was in great pain. Dr. Arens and his assistant were so caring, and made sure I was very comfortable while my two root canals were being done. The entire process was very quick and painless. Thank you, Dr. Arens!
I've never had a root canal and had heard horrible stories. Happily I had a very good experience with a caring staff and great doctor. Very little discomfort and even started a new job the very next day. Thanks so much!
