This is a very professional company. Because I was installing an Energy Star water heater, I needed an outlet for the fan to plug into. They asked a lot of questions on the phone when I called, so they would calculate the correct amount of time for the electrician. They asked for my credit card number and would charge me if I cancelled without adequate advance notice. This gave me pause, but I gave it to them because they have a good reputation. CET came out to rewire some lighting (one light to two separate lights), move a wall outlet and replace some smoke detectors (sounds easier than it is - I tried). They were also scheduled to convert a light over the tub (near the shower) and they (correctly) declined to perform this service due to the lack of a GFE circuit. They quoted on a number of other projects while they were out and we will definitely use them again soon.

He came out to put a couple of electrical outlets out on each end of the deck. He was prompt and professional. The work was fine and we didn’t have any problems. We were pleased.

This was somewhere around my 5th time using Certified Electrical Technologies and as always very professional - prompt, courteous, responsible, knowledgeable and with great customer service (even in the setting of thier van breaking down for the day). We have a 100+ year old home so rarely are jobs straightforward but I can always count on them to get the job done right at an honest price. I will continue to use them in the future.

This was the second job that they had done for me. The first, I had three outlets (2 outside, 1 inside) not working and a light switch that needed to be replaced. They also evaluated the job referenced above. On both occasions, the were prompt in their arrival. For the first job, the electrician found that the outlets were on a tripped gfc that I didn't realize was there and once found that problem was fixed. This was a great experience all around- from making the appointment, to receiving the appointment reminder to the actual work performed. The company is also very responsive in returning phone calls. I appreciated the questions I was asked while setting-up the appointment. It helped to make certain we didn't waste each other's time and that I and the company had all the information and equipment needed to get the job done correctly. Did two jobs for me, used a big deal for $125 for 2 hours of service. I didn't know how long the jobs would take and since it costs at least that much for electrician to come out I was happy to get the deal although the jobs didn't take any longer. The electrician also gave me some good advice about light bulbs that I didn't know about using when you have a dimmer. Great experience.

Everything went well. When I called to make the appointment the gentlemen who answered was polite and professional. I received a note card in the mail a few days before to remind me of the appointment time. The person who came out called beforehand to let us know when he would arrive. We would definitely not hesitate to contact CET again or to recommend them to others.

he was very helpful. He showed me how to use my circuits in my home. He also gave me estimates on work that I want done. He answered all my questions and offered to give ideas on what I can do.
