I purchased a BIG Deal$175Whole House Surge Protection installation. I called the CET office to ask about the unit to be installed. A tech promptly called me backand asked for some basic info about my electric breaker box andtold me my setup would probably require a Cutler-Hammer unit. I did some research online on the unit and read several reviews. I got the info about the box, called back and talked with another tech who scheduled the work. On the scheduled day, the electrician arrived during the 3 hour window and complete... read more
The work went well. I first called their office to discuss the work to be performed. The person in their office and I discussed the parts I needed to purchase. I purchased the parts and had them waiting for the person on the scheduled date/time. The person arrived on schedule and installed all of the parts properly. I am happy with the results.
The electrician did a good job, but after he left, I found lots of pieces of wire, and other small debris where he was working: in our powder room sink, on the floor, etc.
Dave, the electrician assigned to our job, arrived on time. He looked over the lights we were substituting (see earlier comments), confirmed compatibility and got to work. The work area was a hallway approx. 21' long. He measured the distance to ensure the lights were evenly spaced out. Cut out the requisite holes in the ceiling, ran the wiring, installed the housing units, popped on the baffles and inserted the halogen lights. Voila! A dark dreary passage was transform into a much brighter and more welcoming hallway. Note, ... read more
Eric arrived on time. He completed the job, which included many trips up to the attic, in four hours. He was very professional.
All of the outlets in one bedroom and 1/2 the outlets in another bedroom were not functioning. The electrician was able to diagnose and repair the problem within 1/2 hour. I was very impressed and would use this service again.
Before he even started working, the technician made a comment hinting that 2 hours (prepaid) would not be enough time to complete the job. I felt the technician was moving very slowly and trying tomilk the timeto extend the job (at a rate of $45/half hour). I did not want to pay this so I ended up finishing the work on my own.
I purchased two ceiling fan installations through angies list deals, but we had to renegotiate the price since we're dealing with old plaster walls in my house which makes things difficult and also required additional electrical equipment to buy. Rick was very professional despite the good discount I got. I don't remember the exact price but it was around $300, which I still consider a good deal because of the difficulties with my old house. Highly recommend.
They came on time, were polite and efficient, and were able to quickly and efficiently replace the light fixtures which provided significantly more light in mybasement. They also took the time to answer all my questions.
