Installation of a ceiling fan. Excellent service!!!!
Complete electrical inspection of house, indoors and out I did not know what to expect, but I couldn't have been more impressed. Alan checked every outlet and fixture (including the attic), plus the electrical panels and smoke detectors. He explained what he was doing without having to ask and willingly answered my numerous other questions. He suggested some fixes for track lighting problems. I intend to have him come back to replace the outdoor outlets and upgrade some outlets in the kitchen.
Fixed an electrical outlet that wasn't working, troubleshot a fixture that had only one bulb working, and fixed an electrical outlet with a loose connection. Highly recommend CET. Allen did a great job fixing the issues that I was having in my condo. He was very professional, courteous, and efficient. I will absolutely use CET again in the future.
We have a very large complicated electrical system. A thorough inspection was conducted. Jesse was excellent. Very knowledgeable. He completed a very thorough inspection on a very complicated electrical situation in my home. He took extra care to check everything carefully. He was especially expert at explaining the results of the inspection so I could understand our deficiencies. You can rely on Jesse!
Untangled the mess of wired/remote switches controlling a ceiling light/fan in order to replace it with an antique light fixture. This went better than planned. The CET electrician was punctual and efficient, and quickly figured out the confusion of 5 switches (both wired and remote) controlling a foyer ceiling fan/light and also an upstairs light, so as to replace the ceiling fan/light with an antique light fixture. When going to install the fixture he realized it was missing several parts and explained what was needed to c... read more
Installed a ceiling fan/light, three ceiling light fixtures and three under-cabinet lighting fixtures. We scheduled service for seven lighting fixtures (including a combination ceiling fan with light) based on the reviews on Angie's List. Todd from Certified Electrical Technologies called promptly prior to arriving about 30 minutes prior to his arrival at the beginning of the agreed to appointment window. Todd immediately put on foot coverings at our front door and proceeded to review and explain the work to be performed. To... read more
CET installed ceiling fan in bedroom and added a 240 wall outlet for the stove in the kitchen CET technician Jesse Rosenthal is consummate professional. He showed up on time and he did the job right and the pricing was right. He spent the time explaining what he was going to do and what materials he had to install. After the installation, he presented the invoice and he kept is very simple. I would recommend anyone that has an electrical problem to go with this company.
I had used them before and had a good experience. The gentleman who came was professional and knowledgeable. He discerned exactly what I wanted to do and proceeded to do it--hiding some wiring between kitchen lights the first visit and hanging a new porch light on the second trip (along with changing out some outlets to control fan speed and light dimming). He knew when to ask questions and had good explanations of how and why things worked (others had told me it wasn't really possible to do some of the things).
I had a front pole mounted lamp which needed to be repaired. The setscrew which held the lamp head on had rusted so that the head could not be removed. Also the lamp fixture needed to be replaced. All the work was completed and the lamp now works. . The technician arrived on time. He could not remove the set screw and had to saw through it so that the head could be removed. Once that was done he replaced the light fixture. A transformer needed to be replace and I asked the technician if he would go to the hardware store and ... read more
